Chief Commercial Officer

Job Description:

·       Responsible for finding new institutional investors and sell Company to them as part of their investment portfolio, these can include, but not limited to, hedge funds, banks, family offices etc.

·       Responsible for defining strategic sales plans by balancing focus between direct accounts and channels (indirect), building new key relationships with senior management and CXO level with relevant prospects and partners (hunting), as well as negotiating and closing business deals, whilst maintaining and continuously driving existing client and partner relationships (farming).

·       Identify potential business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, competitor’s strengths/weaknesses, as well as the risks and constraints to the company and drafting appropriate sales strategies for such opportunities.

·       Manage all aspects of the sales process, from visioning, prospecting to closure and account management.

·       Work closely with the rest of Company’s team to help to identify the right activities to drive business development efforts.

·       Help build and subsequently manage a team of senior and junior sales executives and helping them achieve their goals.

·       Develop revenue budgets with C-Level and regular reporting on sales forecast against budget/actual.

·       Staying on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape (industry and geographically)

·      In the current start-up phase, the CCO carries managerial and individual contributor responsibilities. KPIs may be depending on overall team targets as well as an individual sales quota.

Job Requirements:

·       Bachelor degree

·       10+ years of relevant career experience in FinTech, Finance Business Development / Investor Sales

·       Key understanding of market and audience in the landscape of institutional investors

·       Experience in selling to and building relationships with CXO level of large companies

·       Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages advantageous.

·       Able to work flexibly with regards to activities and hours in a role that will involve national (and potentially international) travels.
