Chief Financial Officer

Job Description:

·        Lead the financial and management reporting of all activities associated with the contract.

·        Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with the Client (RSG) will be a key requirement.

·        Lead the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and financial projections. A key element of the role will involve partnering with the management team within the operations to provide high level financial insight and decision making to support operational effectiveness.

·        Assist with and provide financial evaluation of all tenders for services at the Airport.

·        Provide project oversight to ensure all revenue opportunities are captured, including timely billing, managing contract variations and payments.

·        Oversee the preparation and management of financial reporting for the Red Sea monthly. Reports include commentary and analysis, KPI reporting and forecasting.

·        Support the Red Sea senior management team by providing high level financial insight and decision support to grow the business in a profitable manner.

·        Input into the pricing strategies for aeronautical and commercial revenues at the Red Sea Airport.

·        Develop a Finance department structure, including recruitment and implementation for the Red Sea Airport post opening.

·        Support the development of strategic partnerships with key external and internal parties, as they relate to the activities of the Finance Department.

·        Ensure revenue budgets, forecasts, plans for Red Sea are completed timely and accurately with all stakeholder’s input.

·        Ensure compliance with appropriate internal controls to maintain the integrity & quality of reporting.

·        Provide knowledge and advice on best practice financial reporting across the business.

·        Liaison with internal and external auditors.

·        Ensure completion of local VAT, TAX and TP returns, in full compliance with local requirements.

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills

·        The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior management team within the operation and will be a proven leader, motivator and communicator with the ability to demonstrate successful management of internal and external stakeholder groups.

·        Bachelors Degree

·        14+ years of experience

·        Strong financial modelling experience and commercial acumen.

·        They will demonstrate vision, innovation and creativity and demonstrate a commitment to developing and getting the best from people be.

·        Experience in an airport environment is desirable but not essential.

·        A strong academic track record, strong technical accounting skills, knowledge and experience of financial modelling is essential.

·        Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to successfully manage a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups outside of finance.
