Technical Sales Manager

Job Description:

·       Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share in the doors, hardware, and joinery sectors.

·       Identify new business opportunities and potential clients to expand the customer base.

·       Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to refine the sales approach and adjust product offerings as necessary.

·       Prepare sales forecasts and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

·       Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

·       Provide expert advice on product selection, customization, and solutions to meet specific project requirements.

·       Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to after-sales support.

·       Address customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

·       Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets and maintain high-performance levels.

·       Provide regular feedback, training, and development opportunities for the sales team.

·       Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to create promotional materials, product offerings, and sales tools.

·       Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:

·       Stay updated on the latest products, industry standards, and innovations in the doors, hardware, and joinery sectors.

·       Ensure the sales team is well-trained in product features, technical specifications, and installation requirements.

·       Work closely with technical teams to customize solutions for specific customer needs.

·       Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, detailing sales performance, market trends, and areas for improvement.

·       Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to maximize revenue growth.

·       Provide input on pricing strategies, product offerings, and promotional campaigns based on market feedback.

Job Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree.

·       Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably within the doors, hardware, or joinery industry.

·       Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing market share.

·       Strong understanding of the technical aspects of doors, hardware, and joinery solutions.

·       Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·       Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve goals.

·       Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Willingness to travel as required.
